About the PM-Vidyalaxmi Scheme
The PM-Vidyalaxmi Scheme has been introduced by the Government of India to provide financial assistance to students pursuing higher education in recognized institutions across the country. The scheme aims to ensure that financial constraints do not hinder students from continuing their academic journey.
Key Features of the Scheme
- Collateral-Free & Guarantor-Free Education Loans for eligible students.
- Completely Digital Application Process that is simple, transparent, and student-friendly.
- 3% Interest Subvention during the moratorium period for students with annual family income up to 8 Lakhs.
- Full Interest Subvention during the moratorium period for education loans up to 10 Lakhs for students with annual family income up to 4.5 Lakhs.
- 75% Credit Guarantee by Government of India through NCGTC for loans up to 7.5 Lakhs.

Education Loans under Management Quota are not eligible under this scheme.
